About me
Hello, I’m Orazio!
I’m a web and graphic designer currently working in the nonprofit sector.
I have always been passionate about art and design, and that’s what brought me to pursue a major in Scenography for theater. I like stories and the ways to craft them, so that’s what drew me to this major in the first place, combining all kinds of arts to tell a complex story on the stage.
Over time I also realized how important it is for everyone to be able to tell their own personal story and be able to express themselves.
That’s what brought me to volunteering first in the National Civil Service program and starting to work for NGOs after that. I believe that design has the power to make people’s voice be heard: good ideas get even better when “dressed up to the nines!”, so that’s what I like to do!
I have worked in youth culture and participation projects, art exhibitions, community empowerment and environmental issues with diverse teams made by people coming from all backgrounds and fields of studies. I like non-formal education methodologies and I believe everyone can help design a more equitable future.
I also have experience in international cooperation projects in programmes such as Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and research and innovations projects funded by the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes.
If this sounds like your cup of tea – or even if it doesn’t! -, hit up the contact section and let me know what’s on your mind, I’m always eager to get into a new challenge!
